Announcing the book launch of Ehsan Turabaz’s book. The book launch took place on March 13 between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Westcord hotel in Delft.
About the book: (prologue) Kabul fell on August 15, 2021 and now, a year later, the situation is worse than ever. Images of children starving to death, parents who have to sell their children because otherwise they will no longer be able to feed their other children.
We, my dear Ehsan, have to do without you now. In a safe country, cherished. Under one roof, food galore. This book is an ode to you, to Afghanistan, so that no one forgets your compatriots.
Founded by and in honor of Ehsan Turabaz. Ehsan Turabaz, International Relation Leader at Inter IKEA Systems B.V., Honorary Consul General of Afghanistan and President of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce.
He fled from Afghanistan at the age of 21 on his way to America, but stayed in the Netherlands because of his aunt Rahima. As a refugee, he has not only given colour and meaning to his own life, but also to the lives of many in the Netherlands and abroad.
‘To be able to build our country, we need educated people – people who know what to do and who take the initiative’
